For the past two days, there has been a rather strange man, wearing a full business suit in this LA weather, sleeping in the little patio behind our building.

I'm not afraid of him - he's just kind of camped out there, only making his presense known around this time of night, when he starts ringing my neighbor's doorbell obsessively.

I wonder what his story is. I wonder why he's here.

I don't necessarily wonder when he'll leave. He's interesting to have around.

And my door is locked.
