I have all these online hobbies these days. I read about TV shows that I later pretend to have watched. I whack balls and defend fish from aliens. I peek into other peoples' lives. I hang out with the friends I see only as icons.

Recently, my online hobbies have included research into Aztec culture and reading the plot synopses of romantic comedies.

I can't write when I'm at work. But I do other things.
