Sometimes I forget that Unnamed Studio is a part of Huge Unnamed Conglomerate. Then, I get an email like this:
Fall brings many changes - some things end, and others begin. We look forward to many cultural traditions, even the lighthearted ones like Halloween.
Once again, Ghosts and Goblins will emerge from their hiding places, beckoning the child inside to recall a time of innocent tricks and tasty treats.
For years, the Studio has been witness to all manner of décor and costuming in playful celebration of "All Hallows' Eve." We assume this year will be no different.
While keeping the spirit of the day, we ask that you be mindful of the following:
Costumes should not make quick identification difficult (e.g., no facial masks that cannot be easily removed for security identification purposes)
Props and/or costume accessories that are or seem dangerous (such as weapons) will not be permitted
All items being brought onto the Lot are subject to search
Décor must not interfere with building fire & safety systems
Under the circumstances, please be appropriate and sensitive to the feelings of others in the more macabre aspects of décor and costuming.
In short, have fun but be aware.
You're a mean one, Unnamed Studio. You're the king of slime and slop.
But, uh, thanks for the Barnes and Noble discount...
