Some random facts about people I've never met

Famous and otherwise.

  • He can run a half-marathon in an hour and forty minutes.
  • She was the first female member of the royal family to serve in the armed forces, serving as a mechanic during the war.
  • He's an actor, but you can sit with him at a bar and never once talk about show business.
  • He threatened to kill Julie Schwartz if Schwartz let anyone write that story but him.
  • When the girl he liked agreed to go to that New Year's party with that other man, he made sure that everyone at the party was holding a cup of hot coffee when the clock struck midnight, so no one, including her, got a kiss.
  • Her twin lives the polar opposite of her life, but might just know her better than anyone else.
  • His portrayal of Romeo is considered the most romantic of any put up by the RSC.
  • Spend five minutes with her, and she'll tell you everything there is to know about the current state of her love life, which is how you know she's not dating that football player anymore.
  • He lives on a plot of rural Virginian land, in a house he built himself, is getting remarried at the age of 60, and enjoys yoga and motorbikes. (Zen in the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is a favorite.)
